Richard Simms of DialAmerica receives the prestigious
Fulcrum Award from the American Teleservices Association

Richard Simms, development manager, at DialAmerica, has been awarded the America Teleservices Association’s (ATA) Fulcrum Award. This award is the ATA’s highest honor, recognizing the extraordinary contributions to the ATA by industry leaders and outstanding individuals in the teleservices business. Presented at the ATA’s Annual Award Gala in Orlando, Florida, Simms received the recognition as he completes his tenure as ATA’s New York Metro Chapter President.

“Receiving the Fulcrum Award is an incredible honor,” said Simms. “Over the past 28 years with DialAmerica, I have received a great deal of support from the staff and executives. This unwavering support helped me grow into my leadership role with the ATA’s New York Metro Chapter.”

Simms was recognized for his hard work as Chapter President from January 2008 to August 2010. Under his leadership the Chapter’s philanthropic initiatives expanded to include a charitable component at every local event. He helped with fundraising for a variety of worthy charitable institutions including; Toys for Tots, the Make A Wish Foundation and Inwood House, a homeless and pregnant teens care center.

“Receiving the Fulcrum Award has inspired me to continue with my dedication to providing leadership for success within the teleservices industry, the ATA, and DialAmerica,” added Simms.

“The Fulcrum is the most prestigious award given by the ATA and the recipient is selected based on voluntary service in the pursuit of the Association’s goals,” said Tim Searcy, ATA CEO. “Rich Simms has embodied the definition of an efficient, effective and committed leader for both the ATA’s New York Metro Chapter and the industry as a whole.”
