NJ/IABC Annual Iris Awards Honors DialAmerica For Achievement
MAHWAH, NJ, FEBRUARY 2002 -- DialAmerica Marketing, Inc. recently announced it has won an IRIS award
for a non-broadcast corporate video in 2001 from the New Jersey chapter of the International Association
of Business Communicators (NJ/IABC).
Nancy Katz, Corporate Communications Manager, received an award of merit for producing an orientation
video for DialAmerica’s 8500 TSRs (telephone sales representatives) that is being used in initial trainings
across the country. The company was honored at the annual NJ\IABC award ceremony on Thursday,
January 31, 2002 at the Madison Hotel in Convent Station, NJ.
The video entitled "DialAmerica: Where Everybody Wins Big" is a 16 minute production that combines a game
show format with interviews of TSRs and other staff. The intent was to show the professionalism of the
company, its high standards and the staff’s ability to train in a warm, supportive atmosphere.
The NJ/IABC IRIS Awards program celebrates excellence in organizational communications and public relations.
Awards are won in the following categories: Communication Campaigns, Publications, Electronic
Communications, Writing, Photography/Illustration, Design, Potpourri and Special Needs and Diversity.

Lee Feinman, DialAmerica VP, Human Resources says that
"Producing a video that would be meaningful to all
of our TSRs who range from college students to retirees was a real challenge. We wanted to be sure
to show the human, fun side of the company and we succeeded at that. It’s especially exciting that a
segment from JEOPARDY! where DialAmerica is the answer to a question was included. To date,
the response of the TSRs has been extremely favorable and we believe it gets our new people off to a
good start."
